It’s not through ‘luck’ that we met our Root Guru His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche but through some ‘auspicious’ circumstance that we did.
We are forever indebted to our Guru for he brought dharma into our lives and made living meaningful.
We are educated in the western way and in many ways, we seek for proof of mysticism in dharma.
But how can we who are so deluded in our minds to accept the words of the wise one if we do not let go the “baggage” on our backs…the baggage we have been carrying since this earthly birth.
If we do not or cannot accept that the Lord Buddha and his highly attained disciples have taught and spoke about the 6 realms, karma, etc.
We must ask ourselves what we want in this life.
We will definitely die and on death where do we go?
If we do not believe in mysticism, then what lie ahead of death?
If there is no life after this life, then why are we so perturbed with our own circumstances?
If we do believe in life after this life, does that belief akin to belief in mysticism.
There is a danger of developing a nihilistic view here.
But whatever clouded delusions we have for the moment, at least we are all on a path, whether it’s guided or not, it’s still the path – let’s all practice compassion, politeness as these are the essence of a spiritual aspirant.
If we live to control others, to have one up on others…we are on a wrong path.
As the saying goes – “let the buyer beware”.
We are very fortunate because of His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who is an erudite Buddhist Master guiding us.
We pay utmost reverence to our Guru, the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha community.
